Giant's Stone Fruit Sale: Peaches, Cherries, and Nectarines at Peak Season
July 19, 2026
It's mid-July, and the summer fruit at Giant this week is genuinely worth a trip. Peaches, cherries, nectarines, and plums are all on sale at once, which doesn't always line up this neatly. If you've been waiting for a good week to stock up on stone fruit, this is it.
This Week's Best Deals
Northwestern Bag Cherries at $2.99/lb is a strong price for July cherries. Buy a couple of pounds and just keep them in the fridge for snacking. They don't need anything done to them.
California Peaches at $2.99/lb and Nectarines or Plums at $1.99/lb mean you can put together a beautiful summer fruit bowl for very little. The nectarines and plums especially at $1.99/lb are hard to beat this time of year.
Nature's Own Bread or Rolls at BOGO is the kind of deal you plan around. Buy two loaves, freeze one. Nature's Own freezes well and you'll thank yourself in two weeks when you're not paying full price.
Duke's Mayonnaise BOGO is worth calling out for anyone who cooks in the summer. Duke's is the real thing for egg salad, coleslaw, and chicken salad, and BOGO on mayonnaise is not something you see every week. Grab two.
Giant Pasta at $0.99 each is about as simple as it gets. Pick up several boxes while the price is this low. Pasta keeps indefinitely and forms the backbone of more weeknight dinners than most of us care to admit.
Quick Breakfast and Lunch Ideas
Breakfast: Thomas' English Muffins are BOGO this week, and FAGE Greek Yogurt is $1.99 each. Toast a muffin, add a scoop of yogurt and some of those fresh cherries or sliced nectarines alongside, and you have a genuinely good breakfast in about three minutes.
Lunch: With Duke's on BOGO and Vine Ripe Tomatoes at $1.99/lb, this is an excellent week for a classic tomato sandwich. Good bread from the Nature's Own BOGO deal, ripe tomatoes, Duke's, a little salt. That's a summer lunch that requires no recipe and no apology.
Another lunch option: The Claussen Pickles at $2.99 and Cooper Sharp White American Cheese at $4.99/lb from the deli make a nice pairing for a simple cold plate. Slice some of that cheese, put it on bread from the Farmhouse or Martin's Potato Bread at $2.99, add pickles, and you're done.
We've put together full meal plans this week built around the Giant sales, with dinners that make good use of those pork chops, chicken thighs, and the stone fruit that's so plentiful right now. Head over to the meal plans section and take a look. Everything is organized to help you shop once and eat well all week.
